Additional Information

This is a long form text area designed for your content that you can fill up with as many words as your heart desires. You can write articles, long mission statements, company policies, executive profiles, company awards/distinctions, office locations, shareholder reports, whitepapers, media mentions and other pieces of content that don’t fit into a shorter, more succinct space.

Articles – Good topics for articles include anything related to your company – recent changes to operations, the latest company softball game – or the industry you’re in. General business trends (think national and even international) are great article fodder, too.

Mission statements – You can tell a lot about a company by its mission statement. Don’t have one? Now might be a good time to create one and post it here. A good mission statement tells you what drives a company to do what it does.

Company policies – Are there company policies that are particularly important to your business? Perhaps your unlimited paternity/maternity leave policy has endeared you to employees across the company. This is a good place to talk about that.

Executive profiles – A company is only as strong as its executive leadership. This is a good place to show off who’s occupying the corner offices. Write a nice bio about each executive that includes what they do, how long they’ve been at it, and what got them to where they are.

A SCGC Welcome to Dr. Heather White

Dr. Heather M. White is a retired gastroenterologist.  She joined Texas Garden Clubs in 2007 and has been involved in floral design through National Garden Clubs (NGC.)

She has completed four of the NGC educational schools and is a Master Flower Show Judge. She participates in continuing education through NGC schools and by attending the Benz School of Floral Design training programs at Texas A&M University and a few others across the US and Europe.

Heather will be showing our members how we can create simple but beautiful arrangements for our home using holiday décor we probably already own.

One of the arrangements will be a raffle prize too!

SCWA & SCGC Joint Holiday Luncheon

    Happy Holidays,

I’m excited to present the Joint Holiday Luncheon.

Oh,  What Fun…we are going to have!   I can hardly wait.

There is quite a bit of information on the flyer so please read it carefully.

RSVP’s are due to Rosemary Jodeit by November 19th.

This is one of my favorite luncheons because the tables are custom decorated and the  entertainment will put you in the holiday spirit!

Please join us at the Country Club on December 3rd for this special event.

    See you there!

    Shannon/Linda

    NOTES:

Please pardon the abundance of  information; we do appreciate your reading it!

Your reservation is due no later than 6 pm, Thursday, November 19th. (We must give a count to the club before Thanksgiving week starts.)

If there is a group you’d like to sit with, please have only one person RSVP for all the ladies in your group. Just remember to include all the member numbers!

A maximum of six or seven people will be placed at each table so normal friend

groups may be separated. Unfortunately, no guests will be allowed to attend this year since space is limited.  Walk-ins will not be allowed, so get your reservation in!

The cost of this year’s luncheon is $27. If you are a Garden Club member who is not a member of Sugar Creek Country Club, please bring either exact cash or a pre-written check payable to Sugar Creek Country Club.   “A reservation made is a reservation paid.” If you must cancel, please contact  Rosemary by 6 pm, Monday November 30th to prevent being charged.

PLEASE REMEMBER THAT FACE MASKS ARE REQUIRED PER CLUB RULES, AND SHOULD BE WORN WHILE YOU ARE NOT SEATED.
